Frequently Asked Questions

One Bridge offers a faith-based, experiential group therapy workshop designed to help participants work through whatever may be keeping them disconnected from God, themselves, or others. Over the course of a week, small groups meet with a licensed counselor in a safe and confidential setting to explore personal challenges, past wounds, and patterns that hinder spiritual and emotional freedom.
It’s not a lecture or seminar — it’s an immersive, healing experience that blends professional counseling, guided reflection, and spiritual renewal in a supportive community environment.
-
An intensive retreat creates space for deeper, more focused healing than is usually possible in day-to-day life or weekly therapy sessions. It gives you extended time and focus with trauma-informed, Christ-centered clinicians in a safe, immersive environment.
With this time and focus you can gently unpack your story, process what you’ve been carrying, and learn practical tools for regulating your body, renewing your mind, and reconnecting with God, yourself, and others.
-
Not at all. While our retreats are especially helpful for those carrying trauma, you do not need to have experienced a specific traumatic event to benefit. Many guests come because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or hungry for deeper healing and Oneness with God, themselves, and others—and the intensive retreat format can meet you meaningfully in any of those places.
